Led highly experienced team in training and evaluating reserve component military organizations.  Led and supervised the training and welfare of ten people and $600,000 of equipment.

 

·         Developed ground-breaking method for certifying individuals in evaluation techniques which was quickly adopted as the standard by the entire brigade.

Platoon Leader/Executive Officer - Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Supervised maintenance and supply program and general operation of mechanized rifle company consisting of 125 soldiers, 10 mechanics and 24 vehicles valued at more than $20 million.

 

·         Developed a comprehensive eight-week training program to field a state-of-the-art piece of equipment to more than 120 personnel which was recognized by the brigade commander as being the best of 5 such training models. Awarded the Army Commendation Medal for excellence in training.

·         Created innovative, modular, self-contained maintenance system resulting in decreased response time, increased deployability and longevity at a cost savings of $85,000.

·         Implemented company maintenance plan that resulted in 97% operational readiness; 7% higher than standard.

·         Led small team to selection as "Best Overall Organization" for 1995 (1 of 12).
